AFI's Top 100

So I was pretty pumped to see AFI's newly updated top 100 American movies of all time tonight. Outside of a few disappointments (like American Graffiti raising even higher, and ridiculous stuff like The Sixth Sense being listed), I was pleased to see some dumb stuff drop significantly (The African Queen) and some of my favorites jump as much as 80 spots (The Searchers, City Lights, The General). Also significant, Intolerance replaced Birth of a Nation and, though I can't prove it (though if you search for "Slap Heard 'Round The World" on Google, my article is the oldest of the four that show up in reference to In The Heat of the Night), I think I was directly quoted.

Anyway, submitted for your approval, here is my list of the top 100 American films of all time (following AFI's rules, and limited to four per director).
